Excellence in Rochester

Rochester Arts & Sciences Academy (RASA) was founded in 2007 by local parents who valued an individualized education emphasizing the arts and sciences. In 2011, the school fulfilled an important goal by achieving authorization as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We are proud to be the only elementary school in Southeastern Minnesota offering an inquiry-based model of learning with a global focus: the IB Primary Years Program (IB-PYP). We also offer an inquiry-based middle school, steeped in the culture of our Primary Years Program, currently enrolling through grade 7 and adding 8th grade in fall 2024.
