MAKING CONNECTIONS

Students at RASA enjoy diverse enrichment activities that complement the Arts and Sciences curriculum and link to their IB Units of Inquiry. And some of them are just plain fun.

Field Trips

Each year our students venture out of the classroom for experiences that align with their Units of Inquiry while expanding their hands-on learning opportunities.

Other Events

  • Guest Speakers: Family and community members often are invited as guest speakers to share their interesting and relevant career/research experience.

  • IB Assemblies:  Biweekly assemblies focus on making the Learner Profile attributes and attitudes meaningful in real-life situations.

  • Community Events: Students at RASA participate in local events such as the Gateway Science Fair and community spelling bee.

  • School Events: Our PTO sponsors several gatherings such as the winter celebration and cultural fair and family bingo night. RASA takes advantage of nearby Soldiers Field Park to host Earth Day activities and our annual track and field day. Classroom, club, and school-wide performances occur regularly throughout the year.

After-School Specialty Clubs

RASA offers a wide variety of ever-changing after-school clubs. Our students enjoy learning even after the school day ends in this enriching community.  Learn More >
